Capital Heritage
Ltd was incorporated in 2009. It is directed by Victoria
Grouden who graduated with a B.A. in 1992 (double major
in Art History and Anthropology) and an M.A.(1st Class Hons.)
in 1995 (Anthropology [Archaeology]) from the University
of Auckland.
Victoria
has worked on projects in Northland, Auckland, The Bay
of Plenty, the East Coast, Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Kapiti, Nelson
and Wellington regions.
She has experience
in a wide range of archaeological and heritage services
including: archaeolgical site assessments, archaeological
site surveys, cultural heritage research, cultural heritage
inventories, artefact analysis, archaeological investigation
and mitigation.
Clients have
included government departments (Department of Conservation,
Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Heritage), regional and local authorities
(Wellington City Council, Hutt City Council, Upper Hutt City Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Gisborne District Council, Kapiti Coast Regional Council, Porirua City Council) and a large number of private
individuals and companies.
She is a
member of the NZ Archaeological Association and the Wellington Archaeological Group.
